The objects exhibited by Eden are the result of research that examined the disappearing culture dictated by the old industry, values of modernist architecture and the aspiration for order and logic.
Using attributes of theatralic culture, which ignores the individual and evokes a sense of alienation, the project muses on the relationship between the distinct legacy of the Bauhaus and the current “NOW” culture that abandoned its past.
In this project, Eden’s personal concern is translated into casting techniques, with which he duplicates architectonic characteristics collected from Berlin and Tel Aviv, using dynamic mold castings with infinite potential for growth.
Observing Eden’s exhibits, it isn’t hard to decide whether the Bauhaus (founder) Rests In Peace or flipping in his grave.
